BrentEvent.org is a website created to benefit Brent Weaver, and other cancer patients.
We hope to provide a means to ease their financial burdens so that they can put
their energy and focus into fighting for their lives in their battle with cancer.
This battle can last many years, during which time the patients are
left too weak
and unable to work to provide for the basic needs of life.
At the same time the medical expenses are so high that even with good insurance,
it places undue hardship that is tough to endure.
Between insurance premiums, deductables, co-pays, travel and parking, and sometimes
housing expenses, the overall health care costs are staggering. It is not uncommon
for cancer patients to reach the lifetime maximum that insurance benefits will provide.
Our inagural fundraising event will be held on October 23, 2010 at the Memorial
Park in Sugar Land, TX
